13th International Techno-Urology Meeting (TUM)- 30th -31st January 2025 Aula Convegni San Luigi Gonzaga Hospital Orbassano, Turin, Italy

Dear Friends,
We are pleased to invite you to the 13th edition of the TECHNO-UROLOGY MEETING, scheduled for
January 30th-31st, 2025, at the San Luigi Gonzaga University Hospital in Orbassano, Turin.

Over the years, our efforts have been focused on advancing laparoscopic and robotic urologic surgery
through the integration of new technologies and surgical expertise.

This year, we are introducing several key developments aimed at further personalizing surgical approaches,
making procedures less invasive and more adaptable.
A significant addition in this regard is the use of the Da Vinci single-port robotic system during live surgery,
an important step toward refining surgery to be even more “tailored” to the specific needs of each
patient.
We remain committed to improving both the preoperative and intraoperative experience for surgeons.
In this context, we have continued to refine virtual platforms that facilitate communication and collaboration
among surgeons, regardless of their physical location.
Since 2022 we embarked in developing the Uro-Verse, a digital environment dedicated to urology.
In this virtual space, surgeons can discuss together complex clinical cases, leveraging highly detailed 3D
virtual models that now replicate not only anatomical structures but also the physical textures of organs,
providing a more comprehensive preoperative planning experience.
For this edition of the congress, we have enhanced the fidelity of our “digital twin” organ models, bringing
them closer to their real-world counterparts and offering greater accuracy in surgical simulations and
planning.
In addition to these advancements, we are introducing a huge innovation to further improve pre-surgical
planning.
This includes the integration of an AI-powered digital avatar, which uses machine learning algorithms to
analyze individual clinical cases and provide tailored recommendations for the intraoperative strategy to
be followed for each specific case, while also predicting potential outcomes.
This represents a new milestone in combining artificial intelligence with surgical decision-making.
All these considered, we believe that the 13th edition of TUM will offer valuable insights into the latest surgical
technologies and innovations. With the participation of top-level surgeons from all around the world, we
look forward to provide a great experience for all attendees.
We hope to see you in Turin for this upcoming edition of TUM, and we trust that the program will meet your
expectations.
Sincerely,

Francesco Porpiglia
